Sometimes the life is not easy: it is impossible to get the device you want for the price it is offered for. Also, sometimes the company is not replying the emails … well, it is also possible to reverse engineer a device. In this case it was a haptic device … for research only !

Punching Mechanism - 2006

Working at the Pico Engineering and Valigent Engineering Ltd, I have developed a punching mechanism. The mechanism creates two oval holes with accuracy of 0.02mm. The challenge was to develop a compact mechanism, such that it would make the two wholes in one move, thus shortening the production time.
