It was a big project to learn about Stirling Engines not only from the theoretical aspect but also from the practical approach. This page was originally created to track the progress of the projects and collect the useful knowledge. Unfortunately it was a lot of work on the projects and not time to update websites, therefore only the sketches of the projects are presented here. All the project reports along the models (some working some not) can be found at the faculty archive and the lab here.

Project Background:
It was a collaboration project between Prof. Eran Sher and the ORMAT Company, the goal was to build ten Miniature Stirling Engines, but all of them should have a different mechanical concept while still working on the Stirling Cycle.

During the year we had 20 students working on 10 projects, and here are the concepts which were designed :
