This page lists a number of projects where I was part of a team; mentoring or leading. Being part of a team and being joined in group efforts is a fascinating experience.
First Robotics - 2009-2010
ASL + QK, London, UK
Second year in a row I was helping the Griffins team to build a robot for the First Robotics competition. We have worked on two different kicking mechanisms. The idea I proposed, which is based on freewheel mechanism, did work but unfortunately it was quite late to implement it into the final version of the robot. :(
First Robotics - 2008-2009
ASL + QK, London, UK
It was a very interesting experience to be a fellow in a team building a robot for the First Robotics competition, which is an international robotics competition for high school kids. I have joined a UK team named the Griffins (1884), which is a joint venture between an American private school (ASL), and Quintin Kynaston (QK), a technology specialist comprehensive school in St. Johns Wood, London, UK. My role was to help with ideas and experience. We have been to Washington DC with the robot, and unfortunately we have not won as we were really unlucky with other teams, but our robot was recognized by many as one of the best !!! We even had a suspension system ;)
Formula SAE - 2005-2006
Mechanical Engineeing Department, Ben Gurion University, Israel
The year 2005-2006 was very successfull and we finally built a first Israeli Race Car made from Magnezium. Unfortunately we did not find enough sponsorship to send it to a competition and race on an international scale … which is really pity.

Formula SAE - 2004-2005
Mechanical Engineeing Department, Ben Gurion University, Israel
The year 2004-2005 was partially successful; we have learned a lot but achieved little as it was almost impossible to work around Israeli bureaucracy …. nevertheless, you must see our calculations, it was breath taking experience to calculate a race car performance without any previous knowledge in cars … who said there is no car manufacturing in Israel ?
